How long will it take? What should I bring?

Applications generally don't take more than 25 minutes in person. The process is informative making sure you aware of the options available to you. Once your application is conditionally-approved the finance company will need to verify income, outgoings and expenses prior to collection of your new vehicle.

Generally, the process is a two-step (visit) process.

Step 1 - initial visit – introduction into your available options, you will be given quotes on the options you have considered. conditional-approvals are generally very quick, usually 10-30 Minutes after completion of the finance application. Scotty will require you to provide the information outlined below. Scotty will also discuss with you expected timings for the finance company to complete their assessment on the information you have provided.

Step 2 - Second Visit – This visit you will be confirming the options you have chosen and completing the finance documentation, generally you will also take delivery of your vehicle at the end of your second visit.

Why 2 visits? Between the two visits Scotty works behind the scenes completing the income, outgoing and expenses verification process with the finance companies. This also gives our customers time to consider all options they have been presented.

What you need to bring

Wholesale Cars Direct acts as a professional agent for many finance companies, we by law must abide by the responsible lending code.

To make sure we can provide the efficient service our customers appreciate, it is imperative that you bring or send us the following information for you to be able to take delivery of your new vehicle in a time frame that you require. So please remember to bring with you, or email to Scott;

• Drivers licence
• Proof of Income, outgoings and expenses. (Your last 3 Months Bank statements of all accounts you hold including credit cards, savings, Joint accounts)
• Bank account number
• Proof of address (Recent power bill, rates bill, recent bank account statement, tenancy agreement, car registration notification).

Please note the above can’t be older than 3 months and requires your first and surname/s to be present.

THE REAL DEAL ON WHY WE OFFER THE BEST

• All of WCD’s vehicles are serviced in-line with Providents expectations, meaning your first service is not due until the next regular service interval - Make sure you check this, as many other policies will request an earlier service, costing you unnecessarily.
• No wear ‘n’ tear clause – Make sure you check this. With Provident, this means that even an oil leak is covered. Many policies on the market will wriggle their way out of a claim with this clause.
• Mechanical, electrical and nowadays more importantly electronic and diagnostics cover – Make sure you check this. So important and assuring knowing that almost every possible fault with a car will fall into one of these categories.
• Time and Labour – Make sure you check this. It’s not just the part that is required. A lot of the bill is made up in time spent diagnosing and repairing the problem.
• Minor and Major – Of course it is assuring to know if a major component (ie transmission) in your car fails you have cover to sort this. With most vehicles it is the ‘little things’ that cause the most frustration and inconvenience (i.e. Electric window switch or air-con stops working).
• Factory audio – This is big. How many cars nowadays come standard with reverse cameras integrated into your entire dash and have associated music facilities like – AUX/USB and Bluetooth. Make sure you check this, as it’s no longer just a jammed CD that causes issues.
• Many warranties on the market, dictate to you on where you must go to have repairs and /or services carried out. With Provident, you are not dictated to on where to have your vehicle serviced/repaired. You will find there are many Provident approved outlets throughout NZ, along with most MTA garages that can look after your car. So if you trust your local mechanic, you should find they’re approved to keep you up to date with your regular servicing and carry out any claims. Just mention Provident before commencing any requests. Any job too big, they have got Provident to call on.

Qualifying Vehicles	These policies cover: Standard Vehicles - that are less than 12yrs old or which have travelled less than 160,000kms at the date the policy commences cover. Turbo, European or Diesel Vehicles - that are less than 12yrs old or which have travelled less than 160,000kms at the date the policy commences cover. Luxury Vehicles - that are less than 10yrs old or which have travelled less than 100,000kms at the date the policy commences cover. The vehicle policy type is shown on the Registration Certificate which forms a part of the policy document.

Special Benefits	Generous allowances for accommodation, car hire/return home costs or vehicle repatriation.
Emergency Breakdown Assistance	In the event of an approved claim, where your vehicle cannot be driven, Provident will arrange towing to the nearest Provident Authorised Repair Facility.
Roadside Assistance Option	Your policy provides full NZ Roadside Assistance benefits, including towing, lost keys, out of fuel, flat tyre and flat battery assistance.
